Three visits, three different days
Austin & Lady Bird Lake
Two or three days.
Heat and storms affect outdoor plans. The lake trail does not make the water an unrestricted swimming area. Confirm attraction hours and respect residential streets when seeking music or food venues beyond the center.
San Antonio Missions & River Walk
Two days for downtown and a mission-focused outing.
Check reservations and opening hours for individual sites. Respect worship and photography rules. Do not assume a riverfront hotel makes the whole mission route walkable, or that cycling is comfortable in extreme heat.
Houston Museums & Space Center
Two or three days, including a separate space-center day.
Tour availability and security conditions may differ from general admission. Check what is included and which facilities are actually visited. Heat, heavy rain and flood alerts can disrupt roads; use current local information.
