The official Gwangalli M Drone Light Show currently publishes seasonal Saturday times, but also warns that weather and technical conditions can change or cancel it.

Do not arrive only for twelve minutes
The most satisfying sequence has a visible beginning, middle and end. Exact sunset and show times vary, so treat these as relative blocks.

Walk enough to see the curve, then stop chasing a “best” angle everyone else also wants.
Eat or settle—not both late
Choose an early meal or secure a public viewing area. Do not assume a restaurant table guarantees a clear view.
Watch from a circulation-safe place
Keep emergency and pedestrian routes open. Follow staff directions and official announcements.
Pause or leave deliberately
Either wait for the largest crowd to clear in a legitimate venue or walk toward the planned station.
Let Millak be an atmosphere choice
Millak's waterfront, food businesses and public spaces extend the night beyond the central sand. Use it when you want a slower walk or a specific meal—not simply because it appears on every list.
Performance: keep circulation clear and follow recording rules.
Food: confirm pricing, preparation and seating before ordering.
Cleanup: dispose of waste only through the proper system.
Pick position by what happens next
The bridge spans the whole bay; the practical difference is your dinner, station and crowd exit.
Earlier arrival, central curve
Useful when the route approaches from central Busan and you want a broad beach walk before settling.
Direct energy, heavier crowd
Strong atmosphere with the largest pedestrian pressure around major programs.
Food and waterfront continuation
Useful when dinner or a quieter post-show walk lies east, subject to local access.
Save the full route home before sunset
Line 2 serves the district, but the beach requires a street walk. Event barriers and crowd direction can change the quickest station approach.
Gwangan and Geumnyeonsan are not interchangeable for every beach end.
A train may run after the line you need to transfer onto has ended.
Use a licensed pickup point away from blocked roads and crowd surges.

Does the drone show run every Saturday?
The official program currently schedules Saturday performances, but weather, technical issues and special operations can delay or cancel them. Check its notice on the day.
What time should I arrive?
Arrive before sunset when bridge light matters. On event nights, allow more time for crowd control, dinner and the walk from your chosen station.
Which station is best?
Gwangan and Geumnyeonsan on Line 2 serve different sections. Save the station and exit closest to your exact venue rather than following the district name alone.
Can I combine Gwangalli with Haeundae?
Yes. Keep Haeundae's outdoor blocks earlier, then use Line 2 and arrive before dusk. Do not add another distant west Busan stop.
