What is Warorot Market?
Warorot, often called Kad Luang, is a longstanding market area serving local and visitor needs across food, clothing, household goods and regional products. Stall mix and hours change, so visit for the working market rather than one guaranteed purchase.
Can I walk there from Tha Phae Gate?
Yes through Chang Moi when heat, crossings and traffic suit. Make it a one-direction route with selected stops; use a short ride if the connecting walk adds exposure without value.
What should I buy?
Buy only what you can identify, store and legally transport. Confirm ingredients, shelf life, material claims, final price, baggage allowance and destination customs restrictions.
Should I continue to the river?
The Ping River and Wat Ket form a natural next chapter, but market fatigue is real. Cross only when you still want a slower neighborhood walk; otherwise end with a planned pickup.
